HIFU works by focusing multiple ultrasonic beams of high frequency and high energy levels through acoustic lenses onto a very specific target area, much like what a magnifying glass does with sunlight that allows for precise (down to the millimeter) a perfect targeting for a place you want to work with. Will be a face-lift or fat reduction.
The procedure consists of the application of a high frequency and high energy ultrasound beam producing cellular changes by means of raising the temperature in order to eliminate wrinkles and flaccidity of the treated areas and reaffirm areas of the body that denote age as arms or jowls.
HIFU can treat deeper skin conditions compared to other all kinds of RF or laser devices. It is delivering high intensity-focused ultrasound energy to much deeper layers of skin (including the Epidermis, Dermis, Subcutaneous and Facial Muscle) with a 4.5mm penetration depth, heating the skin tissue in the focal region up to 65-70°C temperature in just a few seconds, causing the contraction of the all targeted tissues, which results in the best skin lifting & tightening and skin texture & tone.
Because sound waves don’t travel well through the air, a layer of ultrasound gel is needed to help conduct the sound waves, ensuring a close bond between the skin and the ultrasonic transducer device.
